You’ll find the most important items with tips and at the bottom of this blog you’ll find our Time Warp checklist, very handy! Book your bus trip to Time Warp here!
#1. Very useful at Time Warp
Stuff. Your lighter, cigarettes and chewing gum. It all has to be carried somehow when you’re at the festival.
1. The fannypack
For women but also for men: a bag in which you keep your essentials. Because in addition to lipstick and tampons, chewing gum and earplugs are very convenient to have with you. It’s handy to have a bag that you can carry against your body when you’re dancing with thousands of other techno lovers. A fannypack is perfect for this and fashionable for both men and women. Moreover, the fannypack is almost pickpocket-proof! Convenient because unfortunately there are still some greedy types walking around on Time Warp…
2. Smoking
We’re gonna die anyway. You may be extra mortal, but you also make yourself immortal if you have some extra cigarettes towards the end of this techno party. And your brand might not be available at Time Warp. TIP: Buy your cigarettes across the border: they are usually cheaper in Germany.
3. Earplugs
Nice to hear those beats, but think of your ears! The music can be a bit too loud in the Maimarkthalle. With earplugs you prevent a lifetime beep in your ears and it makes your powernap on the bus a bit better.
4. Tasty snacks
It’s good to always have something to eat or drink with you. You’re not allowed to bring food from outside to the festival but at Time Warp itself is a huge hall where you can get food. On the way to and from the festival it is certainly handy to bring some food on the bus. Think of a bottle of water or a banana to get some energy.
5. Clothing
It can still get quite warm in the Maimarkthalle so you won’t put on your coat, but don’t forget that you still have to go home after the party. Tiredness can cause you to get cold quickly, especially after you’ve been so hot at Time Warp. With a nice hooded sweater you’ll make sure you don’t get cold.
Time Warp is the place to be!
#2. Paperwork!
It’s nice to be willing to rave as soon as possible, but you really have to do the paperwork first. In the queue at the entrance the same thing always goes through your head: “where is my ID and where is that e-mail with the tickets?”. A stressful situation because you know there are a lot of techno lovers waiting behind you.
Not a nice start of your festival. Arrange essential paperwork on time and put it on your Time Warp packing list.
1. Bus ticket
Maximal Trips takes care of your bus trip to Time Warp. Make sure you bring your ticket and don’t miss the bus!
2. Festival ticket(s)
You certainly won’t be the first to forget this. TIP: Make a printed copy of everything. A good backup could make a difference, because your mobile phone could run out of batteries, or the local internet won’t work, or you just can’t find them anywhere – your friends will certainly blame you!
3. Passport or ID
This, too, is such an essential document. TIP 1: Use a plastic cover for your passport to protect it against moisture on the way and during the festival itself. TIP 2: a driver’s license is usually a more convenient document than a passport… At Time Warp itself you can keep your identification safe in a locker. There are many more Time Warp tips.

#3. Always handy at Time Warp
Those things you really can’t forget when you go to Time Warp.
1. Good shoes
You’ll walk around the Maimarkthallen for hours, because the festival takes 19 hours and you don’t want to sit still. It’s better not to do that on pumps but on sneakers. Or be stubborn and go for fashionable with your new boots of which you secretly already know that you will get blisters. Pretty hurts… Just remember, no one’s really going to look at your shoes anyway!
2. Powerbank
You may have energy for to dance for days, but unfortunately your phone doesn’t. With a power bank you stay online, so put this on your Time Warp checklist. Time Warp is big and crowded, so if you’re offline the search for your friends can take hours and that’s a shame!
3. Your own sound system
You’ll really get your musical juices flowing at Time Warp. This is doubtful on the bus trip towards the party. So bring your own speaker to listen to music on the bus. Whether you secretly want to listen to guilty pleasure hits or want to become the bus-DJ – you decide!
4. A fan
Even though Time Warp is indoor, temperatures can still be high. The area is reasonably closed so a fan for some cold air is very nice. This prevents your makeup from runing out if you forgot to use waterproof mascara. Also when you chill out in the morning you are prepared. Finally, you will make many new friends at Time Warp with a fan, they will come at you like bees to honey.
5. Cash
Anything could happen. You could just lose your bank card and you won’t find it again with thousands of party goers around you. Cash is always handy, but don’t leave your debit card at home because a lot of festivals are cashless these days. Check this in advance on the website of Time Warp.
6. Sun screen
When the morning comes it can be quite sunny on the windless area of Time Warp (yes, also in spring). If you are waiting outside for the bus or want to chill out at the open part of the festival area, sun screen is always handy. Or actually just a must!
