The lineup
Over 40 dj’s and live acts come to Time Warp each year. The top artists of techno come together in Mannheim. With artists like Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Nina Kraviz, Reinier Zonneveld, Laurent Garnier and, of course, Sven Väth you know this night will be one to never forget. The location
Once upon a time, Time Warp started in the German city of Ludwigshafen. However, since 2000, Time Warp takes place in Mannheim, a different city in Southwest Germany. The Maimarkthalle, the location where the festival takes place each year, is 210,000 m² big so more than enough space for a good party. Nowadays, Mannheim is seen as the city of music. When the 400th anniversary of the city was celebrated in 2007, Time Warp was chosen to officially be a part of this. The organisation could collaborate on a 7-day music festival for this celebration.
Carl Cox is one of the greatests techno DJ’s of this time. Of course, he is at Time Warp!
Time Warp is an original
The festival was founded in 1994 and quickly become one of the biggest techno sensations of the world. Since 2000 the festival takes place in April each year in Mannheim, where techno fans come together to experience this amazing festival. In the meantime, Time Warp has taken place internationally in cities like New York, São Paulo and Milan. When you say Techno you say Time Warp, which is why Time Warp should definitely be on your festival agenda!
