This is your Splash! checklist!

It is important to be well prepared before traveling to your favorite festival. Aside from the obvious things like your ticket, cash and ID, there are a few other items that can really come in handy. We are happy to help you with this and that is why we have this Splash! packing list for you. This way you can be sure that you take everything with you!

You don’t realize how important some items are until you don’t have them with you. To prevent you from forgetting them, we have it on the Splash! packing list!

1. The fannypack

It’s the ultimate accessory to store all your important stuff while keeping your hands free for more important things like partying! Plus, the fanny pack is making a comeback, and what better place to show off such a stylish yet practical fanny pack than on Splash!? It’s the must-have item of the year!

2. A good night’s rest

A sleep mask and ear plugs may not be the first things you think of when you come to Splash! go. But you will certainly be happy with these items. This way you wake up rested and ready to go again the next day. Maybe not the coolest items, but very handy!

3.  Cash

It is always handy to have some cash. If you lose your debit card, at least you still have some money! You can’t just find your pass among all those people. Always take your card with you, because nowadays many festivals are cashless, check this in advance on the Splash! website.

4. Food and drinks

On Splash! you’ll be dancing under the sun for hours. You lose a lot of energy, make sure you replenish this! Think of a bottle of water or a banana, for example. Take care of yourself and each other.

The weather in Germany is not always predictable, so be prepared for anything!

1. Poncho

This invention is a must at any festival. Of course we hope it doesn’t rain, but in Germany you never know! So take a poncho with you just to be on the safe side, so that you stay dry when it rains. It easily fits in your pocket, so there’s no excuse not to take it with you!

2. Hat or cap

Bring a hat or cap to Splash! This not only helps you against the sun, but also against rain or if you have a bad hair day! 😉

3. Shoes

Of course you don’t want to stand still with the music of the best artists. You walk from stage to stage and of course you dance a lot. It is better not to do that on stiletto heels but on sneakers, your feet will be happy with this. Bring an extra pair of shoes in case your shoes get wet.

This makes you Splash! experience complete: the campsite!

Identification and tickets. The two most important things when you go abroad!

1. Busticket(s)

Maximal Trips will arrange your bus trip to Splash!, make sure you bring your ticket and don’t miss the bus!

2. Festivalticket(s)

No ticket = no festival. It is therefore essential to bring your festival ticket(s) with you! You often receive them in an e-mail, but it is always useful to print them. The internet in Ferropolis may not cooperate or your battery may just be empty. With printed tickets you always have a plan B!

3. Passport / ID

Legitimacy is also certainly essential. TIP: Put your passport in a plastic cover against damp hassle on the way and during your stay. There are many more tips for Splash!, read them in our blog!

1. Powerbank

With a power bank you stay online. With all the excitement, taking photos and keeping in touch with friends can quickly drain your phone’s battery. A power bank can keep your devices charged throughout the day, so you never miss an unforgettable moment.

2. Disposable camera

3. Sigarets

We do know that smoking is healthy, but that does not mean that we like to go to a festival without cigarettes. Bring more than enough because you don’t want to waste precious time standing in line. TIP: Buy your cigarettes across the border: cheaper in Germany.
