Our tip: bring a water-repellent festival dress. This is actually just a fancy word for garbage bag, something everyone is guaranteed to always have at home. Top! Garbage bags are always a good idea. Handy for literally any situation you might find yourself in. Use them to throw in all the empty beer cans, stretch them over your backpack to keep it dry, you could even turn it into a nice raincoat with a little creativity. How convenient is that?! The options are endless.

Rock Werchter festival is easily accessible by car and there are plenty of parking spaces. The disadvantage of this is that you may be dropped on one that is a good distance from the festival site. In that situation you always have to wait in long queues for a shuttle bus that will take you to and from the festival. It is therefore wise to book your bus trip in advance.
