Are you going to Katzensprung? Are you lucky, because Katzensprung is going extra well this year! So make sure you are well prepared. We’ll give you a hand with our Katzensprung packing list, so you can be sure you’re taking everything with you and get the most out of your Katzensprung experience. What are you bringing? And where do you leave it? Your chewing gum, cigarettes and lighter, it all needs to be transported.

1. The fanny pack

Men can’t escape it either: a bag in which you keep your essentials. Because besides lipstick and tampons, chewing gum and lighters are very handy to have with you. Make sure you have a bag that you keep an eye on at all times. A fanny pack is fashionable for both men and women and especially for a party like Katzensprung, where you will be pounding well, very handy. Moreover, the fanny pack is almost pickpocket-proof.

2. Sigarets

This will make you extra mortal but will also make you immortal if you have some extra supplies towards the end of the party. And your brand is not for sale at every event. TIP: check the cigarette prices in advance, they might be cheaper if you buy them in Antwerp!

3. Earplugs

The music is important, but your ears are even more important! At Katzensprung, the music can still be heard a little too well in such a closed, reverberating hall. With earplugs you are prepared against a lifelong beep and it also ensures an undisturbed power nap in the bus, win-win.

You have to experience Katzensprung at least once in your life!

Your wallet, ID and your tickets are the most important things to take with you! Arrange this paperwork on time and put it on your Katzensprung packing list.

1. Busticket

Maximal Trips arranges bustrip to Katzensprung. Make sure to bring your ticket and don’t miss the bus!

2. Festivalticket(s)

You certainly won’t be the first to forget this. TIP: make a print of everything. A good backup is worth its weight in gold, because your mobile phone will run out of battery, or the internet won’t cooperate in the Sportpaleis, or you simply won’t be able to find them anywhere.

3. Paspoort / ID

This is also such an important document. TIP: Put your passport in a plastic cover against damp hassle on the way and at the festival itself. Katzensprung may be inside, but you can just get a drink over you.

1. Good shoes

You can easily walk around Gut Haarbecke for 10 hours during Katzensprung. It is better not to do that in stiletto heels, but in sneakers. Or be stubborn and go fashionable with your new Dr Martens that you secretly already know will give you blisters.

2. Powerbank

With a power bank you stay connected. Katzensprung is super big and there are a lot of people, so if you are offline the search for your friends can take hours.

3. Your own sound system

On Katzensprung you really get your money’s worth musically. In the bus journey this is still doubtful. So bring your own box to listen to music on the bus. Whether you secretly want to listen to bad hits or want to pass as a bus DJ.

4. A fan

Even though Katzensprung is indoors, the temperatures can still be high. The halls are reasonably closed so a fan for some cold air is very relaxed. So definitely put this on your Katzensprung packing list or buy one at the party itself, then you immediately have a reason to buy (even more) merchandise!

5. Sunglasses

The light shows at Katzensprung are amazing! Beautiful colors, lasers and that in combination with the best music. Watching those lasers all night can be tiring for your eyes, so be sure to bring sunglasses to dim the lighting if you need it. Cool sunglasses also complete your outfit!

6. Cash

You never know. You can just lose your bank card and you won’t find it again with thousands of ravers around you. Cash is always handy, but don’t leave your debit card at home anymore because nowadays many festivals are cashless. Check this in advance on the website of Katzensprung!
