All fun!
The festival showcases traditional German culture with beer, food, and live music. You can try different types of beer, enjoy delicious Bavarian cuisine, learn about German traditions, and meet people from all over the world! In the early afternoon, you can chat with your new friends, and in the evening you can dance on the tables with the German Oompah band in the background.
The party already starts at the campsite. The campsite is where you sleep, eat and prepare for Oktoberfest, but above all where the afterparty takes place every night. Enjoy live bands, DJs, and unlimited beer, wine, and sangria. Plenty of (drinking) games are also hosted, such as beer pong and flip cup, or spin the Wheel of Misfortune! To top it all off, you can also score matching lederhosen and dirndls, so you look fashionable and you have a nice souvenir for home. Who would not want that?

The location
It is held in the Theresienwiese, a large open area also referred to as the “Oktoberfest meadow”. The site covers an area of 103 hectares and is located approximately 2.5 kilometers southwest of Munich city center. Many transport options are available to reach the festival site, including trains, buses, and taxis.
This festival site is so big that you can visit not one, not two, but no less than 17 large and 21 smaller beer tents. In addition, there is also more than enough space for a gigantic fairground. Challenge yourself to try out the amusement rides, from haunted houses to rollercoasters, to test even the heaviest of stomachs.
